Here is another poem for my honors class, its about what we think is a problem in the world today.
Time
Time: fiend, friend, nuisance,
some times completely useless.
Going to slow, speeding to fast.
Wondering if its going to last.
Our lives would be so easy,
If we didn’t have this enemy.
If we were able to take our pace,
Like life wasn’t a race.
We blame our problems on upbringings,
On the economy screwing up things.
But Time, taking what we hold dear.
The time to learn, and giving us time to fear.
But in the mist of all that is wrong,
Time makes it up by moving our lives along.
Giving us thinking room,
Before resuming the zoom.
Tricking us to believe it is our friend.
But we all grow old in the end.
Time. Friend, Fiend, Nuisance.
But not completely useless.
